We’re a small practice based in Northampton. We’re business owners ourselves so understand the ups and downs of running a business. Founded in 2011, the practice has been paperless from the start and an advocate of online accounting software.
We believe honesty is a key value for being in business. We can’t help our clients if they’re not completely honest with us but also we need to be transparent in return.

Small Business Accountants
Nurturing small businesses. We provide accounting services to small businesses from home-based start ups to established family run businesses. We’re based in Northampton but location isn’t everything. With cloud based software and Skype, we can help your business wherever you are located in the UK (we won’t be able to provide a cup of coffee and biscuit though!).
Parfitt Taylor was started in 2011 by Rebecca Taylor ACMA. Rebecca is a qualified accountant with many years experience in industry.
From the start, the aim was to embrace modern accounting practices, moving away from PC based software to the new breed of online accounting software. We became Xero partners when Xero was still in its infancy in the UK.
Whilst our growth hasn’t matched that of Xero, we are now an established practice with 3 Xero certifications and are a Xero silver champion partner.
As a small business owner ourselves, we understand the challenges you face with cashflow, profit margins and getting paid.
We help you to be clear on what your finances mean, when your returns are due and what taxes are due and when. Giving you peace of mind.

Rebecca Taylor ACMA
Director and Principal Accountant
Rebecca is a qualified accountant (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) with experience of working in industry and practice.
After many years working for larger businesses and a third redundancy, she decided it was time to take charge of her destiny. With a desire to help small businesses beat the fear and stress of accounts, she overcame her own fears and started her business.
Juggling childcare and work is always a challenge. With a husband, 2 boys and a border collie called Barney, being organised and time management skills are essential.
Rosie is an account assistant with many years experience working within accounts departments and with accountants. She has embraced Xero and has 2 Xero certifications, Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll.
Rosie also has a young family and works part-time supporting clients with bookkeeping as well as administration in the office.
